Edwin T. Burton Economics Career Office (ECO)

The Edwin T. Burton Economics Career Office (ECO) supports students through individualized advising, signature programming, and coordinated engagement with faculty, alumni, and student communities. We provide scalable resources and track outcomes to ensure all majors have access to high-quality career information and opportunities.

The ECO was launched in the fall of 2013, thanks to the vision and support of faculty and friends of the department. Our mission is to equip economics majors with tools and resources to successfully reach the next steps in their career planning. We accomplish this by providing opportunities to meet employers and economics alumni, career advising from major declaration to graduation, and by collaborating with other career centers on the Grounds. Students are encouraged to partner with the ECO and dedicate time to independent research and networking to build bridges with the professional world.
