Summer Business Internships at Spotify

Hey, here’s your chance to be a full-time Spotify employee, starting with a summer internship! 

For the Summer of 2019 we are among others looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we might have more than one role within each area within multiple teams.

Financial Planning & Analysis – R&D

We are looking for an outstanding Financial Planning & Analyst Intern to join our R&D FP&A team in Stockholm. You will support FP&A for R&D – a key organization that encompasses all aspects of the development of the Spotify product ecosystem. You will establish and develop relevant recurring reporting to support management accountability and undertake ad-hoc to analyze and understand the business implications of proposed decisions. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

Tax 

We are looking for a Tax Intern for the fast-paced, driven and social Tax Team in Stockholm. The tax teams motto is to “Simplify the complexity of Tax – allowing Spotify’s continuous evolution towards its full potential” and we try to live by that. We have dedicated Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting, Indirect Tax and Direct Tax teams. This intern will assist us with various questions ranging from fact-finding, analysis, data, gathering legislation and so on. You might assist with a Transfer Pricing Question in Australia in the morning and a VAT issue in South Africa in the Afternoon.

Skills: Office & Google suite, Interest in Tax

Marketing & Communication – Community

We are looking for a Community Intern to join the Community team in Stockholm. The team is in charge of the Spotify forums at community.spotify.com. They also run a dedicated Spotify super user program known as the Rock Star Program. This group is rewarded with prizes in return for helping fellow Spotify users in our forums. We also host an annual Rock Star Jam event for the top 10 Rock Stars every year. We would like our intern to help us plan the 6th annual Rock Star Jam, coordinate logistics of the Rock Star Program program and work on various Community projects such as analyzing user survey results, organizing user feedback and supporting the Manager team.

Courses: Marketing, Social Media or Communication

Skills: Google & Adobe Suite, Excel, Basic Web Development is a plus.

The Internship Gig

This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you’ll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee.

For the Program, we’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for music and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2020 or recently graduated from your studies and are currently based in Stockholm or will be living here during the summer of 2019

  • 10 June, 2019: Intern program start
