CHARLOTTESVILLE TOMORROW IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PAID INTERNSHIPS DURING THE SUMMER AND FALL OF 2017

Our internship program is an excellent way to hone one's writing skills and become very familiar with local government, education and planning issues in Charlottesville and Albemarle. Our interns are trained as staff reporters to cover local government meetings and events. They produce news and information for publication on our website and in many cases with our media partners.

Interns also assist with events, social media, and provide general administrative and research support.

Successful applicants will have strong computer and writing skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong interest in local government gained through educational or professional experience on issues such as land use, transportation, community design and public education.

For a complete description of the position, please visit Charlottesville Tomorrow’s job opportunities page.

Applicants for summer 2017 can email a cover letter and resume by Friday, March 3, to me at bwheeler@cvilletomorrow.org.  The deadline for fall 2017 internships is Friday, June 2.

Sincerely yours,
