My name is Sarah Frame and I work at the Department of Human Resource Management with our Virginia Management Fellows program.

The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Management Fellows (VMF) program is hiring a fifth cohort of emerging leaders with a commitment to public service in state government. The program is hiring Fellows for the two-year fellowship beginning June 25, 2022 and ending on June 24, 2024. The VMF selection panel seeks applicants who are diverse in thought, educational background, experiences, place of residence, culture, and ethnicity.
Selected Fellows are full-time state employees in a two-year program of state-level service and learning. Applicants must have demonstrated interest in public service and volunteerism, and the capacity to work as both a leader and a participant in team efforts. Critical thinking is a sought-after skill. Learning state government in “real time,” Fellows work at three state agencies for eight-month periods. Rotations are supervised by highly motivated and trained agency mentors.
