As an Analyst in Teneo Capital, you will be a key member of a number of client-facing teams, working on sell-side/buy-side M&A, private capital raising, restructuring and other financial advisory services assignments. You will receive structured and on-the-job training, and will work in a range of industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Consumer Products, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Insurance, Oil & Gas Retail, Technology, and many others.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and valuation materials (comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, DCF and LBO models, sum-of-the-parts, etc.)
- Conduct industry research and company-specific due diligence
- Draft teasers, offering memoranda, private placement memoranda, management presentations, etc.
- Design and prepare various marketing materials (pitches, profiles, etc.)
- Lead the creation of data rooms and due diligence documents
- Travel to client locations and interact with client senior management teams
- Play an integral role in the team’s success working closely with senior bankers that have previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, J.P. Morgan, Lazard, Moelis, Morgan Stanley and UBS, among others
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university
- GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred
- Previous experience as an investment banking Analyst or Intern is desired, but not required
- Comfort with numbers and analytics; knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for excellence
- The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
- Interest in being part of a growing organization
