Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s (BA) Degree at an accredited College or University or international equivalent. Our analyst position should be competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and generally be confident in their use of math skills and verbal communication. While not required, it will be useful to have a rudimentary understanding of financial accounting. If an applicant does not have any proficiency, we recommend that that take outside coursework within the first year or two of employment to study those subjects.

Terms:

We will hire under a 60 Day Trial Period upon which a permanent job offer will be made. The starting salary on an annualized basis is $70,000.00, paid bi-weekly. We offer benefits beyond pay that include full healthcare coverage, excluding dental, 401k retirement savings program, 2 weeks paid vacation (1st year), and 3 weeks per year thereafter. Available Start Date is on or after October 1st, 2021

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates that can self-start on delegated projects and are detail focused. We provide as part of our analyst training program a ‘bootcamp’ where financial modeling skills are learned for equity investment research & valuation techniques. We place industry focus on pharmaceutical, energy, industrial and tech segments. It is expected that the analyst will be able to learn and input information into both our equity investment models and for our client financial planning models. Alternative investment analysis and fund reporting are also analytical frameworks we employ. Likewise, we will provide a portfolio accounting software tutorial for our firm-wide management software so that an analyst will be able to both input transactions and run management & performance reports from those databases given time weighted and internal rate of return methodologies. The analyst candidate will be expected to prepare meeting materials for our existing clients and for prospective client presentations.

Upon demonstrating competency with our internal communication and development exercises, it is expected that within 6 months to a year, our analysts will be speaking directly with clients to help with their inquiries and or attending meetings where we present materials or discuss financial topics. Generally, our analysts with the help of partners will either track towards a client relationship role, a prospective front office development role, or research and operations. The candidate can expect to travel several times per year to meetings upon normalization of travel post-Covid travel restrictions. This position is full time in our offices in West Palm Beach, FL.
