UVA Career Center DC Business & Healthcare Academies

The applications for the UVA Career Center’s DC Business and Healthcare Academies are open and will close on Sunday, November 4th. Both Academies will start on Sunday, January 6th and end on Friday, January 11th. Apply early - Acceptances will be announced on a rolling basis!

DC Business Academy

In partnership with Clutch, Accenture, ESRI and more leading employers in the business industry, the DC Business Academy expands on your liberal arts education and builds competency in five core business disciplines. Engage with alumni mentors and hands-on cases to develop a deeper recognition of the day-to-day roles professionals encounter in various business disciplines.

DC Healthcare Academy

The DC Healthcare Academy is an interactive learning experience in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, Aledade, MITRE, IPSOS, Cognosante, the CATO Institute, the Urban Institute, the Virginia Hospital System, and more leading employers in the healthcare industry. This program builds on your liberal arts education and competency in the 4 P’s of healthcare - pharma, policy, providers, and payers. Engage with alumni mentors and hands-on cases to develop a deeper recognition of the day-to-day roles professionals encounter in various healthcare disciplines.
