Berkeley Economic Review-- the premier undergraduate economics journal at the University of California, Berkeley-- is currently accepting submissions for its sixth semesterly volume!
Our journal is seeking essays, op-eds, theses and research papers from undergraduate students across the U.S. and internationally. We offer a great opportunity for students to publish their work in a professional and academic journal. Not only is it a chance to share your research with the larger economic community, but having published scholarly work is also helpful if you’re interested in applying graduate schools in the future.
So if you have completed an excellent paper or honors thesis, we strongly encourage you to submit to our journal. Please limit essays or op-eds to a maximum of five pages single spaced, however there is not maximum for these or original research papers. The priority deadline for submissions is Saturday, October 6. Submitting by this date guarantees your paper will be reviewed for publication this semester. The hard deadline is Wednesday, October 17, after which all submissions will not be considered until next semester.
