graduates to join our Secondary Advisory Team in New York City.

equity, private infrastructure and private debt and has two advisory practice
areas: primary fund raising and secondary and restructuring advisory.

and Singapore. Campbell Lutyens has operated in the US for 20 years and has had
an office in New York for the last twelve years. The firm is experiencing
tremendous growth including doubling the size of its New York office in the
past 12 months. 

CL’s
Secondary Advisory Team has 28 dedicated front office secondary professionals
making it the largest in the world. In addition the Secondary Advisory Team
works very closely with its Global Primary Placement Team, as well as being supported
by a substantial middle/back office team. 

CL’s
Secondary Advisory Team has advised on many of the largest and most complex
secondary transactions completed since 2000. Transactions included the sale of
portfolios of limited partnerships interests in private equity and
infrastructure funds, the sale of portfolios of direct interests in private
equity and infrastructure investments and the restructuring of private equity
and infrastructure funds.

 

Job
Description

We are looking for new university graduates to join
the Secondary Advisory Team in New York City. 

The
new hire(s) will work closely with the members of the Secondaries team to
support both the origination and execution of sell-side mandates, as well as
developing a strong understanding of the private equity industry, secondary
market participants and the nuances of executing competitive auction processes. 

The
successful candidates will be involved throughout the execution process which
includes portfolio analysis, complex financial modeling, marketing material
preparation, data room management, interaction with potential buyers and
General Partners (private equity firms), bids analysis and preparation of
presentations for clients. 

They
will also support the origination of mandates via portfolio and financial
analysis, preparation of marketing materials, assisting on responses to
requests for proposal (RFPs), deal flow generation pitches and attending / presenting
at client meetings.

 

Requirements

Candidates
should be graduating from a top tier university in summer 2018, ideally with a
finance or analytical degreeStrong
academic background with at least a GPA of 3.5Familiarity
with corporate finance and valuation fundamentals – prior internship experience
is a plus, particularly in investment banking, accountancy, consultancy or
private equityEnthusiasm
for private equity and basic private equity industry knowledge is a plusExperience
