Opportunities at the D. E. Shaw group - our winter 2022 fellowships, happening in January, are now open! Sophomores from all academic disciplines are welcome to apply by Monday, November 22. Prior finance experience isn’t required (in fact, many of our employees hadn’t even considered a career in finance before joining the firm).
For a bit of background, our fellowships are unique educational programs that give students insight into our firm and industry. During these three-day virtual events, fellows will:
- Participate in a curriculum of interactive seminars led by notable speakers and D. E. Shaw group analysts
- Hear from senior firm leaders and recent hires about their experiences and career paths
- Connect with other students from schools across the country
- Receive a $1,500 stipend
