The Edwin T. Burton Economics Career Office (ECO) is committed to providing Economics majors with tools to successfully manage their professional development throughout their careers. Building relationships with economics alumni and engaging alumni in our services and programs is one of the most important ways that we may accomplish this. We truly value our alumni not only as makers and keepers of tradition but as partners in our future.
Alumni in Residence
We invite alumni to share their expertise through our Alumni in Residence program and Economics Undergraduate Career Forum. We would enjoy hosting you in the department to:
- Conduct resume critiques and mock interviews
- Serve as speakers on panels and workshops
- Post jobs through our Handshake database, for the exclusive use of economics students

Coffee Chats
Contact our Director, Jennifer Jones, if you would like to organize a Coffee Chat for your employer. These chats are designed to offer specific information about opportunities with your firm/employer. Often, alumni take the lead by introducing the ECO to their HR team and coffee chats are organized from there.
